Thank you for renewing your Partnerhood with Lab/Shul. Partnerhood thrives on your volunteer time--in the form of a "Shul/Shift"--and a financial contribution as you are able. In return, you’ll get access to benefits that give you a real dollar return on your investment, a vote and a voice in the future of Lab/Shul, and a place to be loved and belong.

The various suggested contribution options enable you to give at a level that feels significant, while also ensuring Lab/Shul can thrive financially. Give more if you can, or less if you need to. All contribution options receive the same membership benefits (with the exception of Visionary). While we aim to offer as many programs as possible in a hybrid model (both in person and online), some of our programs are only online, and some are only in person. We welcome any and all contributions. Really.

Due to rising costs, we have modestly increased our Partnerhood rates for 5785 (2024 - 2025). As always, we want everyone who wants to be a Partner to be able to do so, so if the rates listed don't work for you, please email Sam Hipschman, Director of Community and Culture (sam@labshul.org) to create an arrangement that works for you. Lab/Shul's Partnerhood structure is flexible, and we trust that you will come to us with an open heart, ready to invest in the way that's appropriate for you. We trust that those of you who have more will give more so that everyone in our community can participate equally, and so Lab/Shul can continue to have more flexible pricing models and approach everything we do with a lens of equity. This is how we move together - and thrive - as an everybody-friendly intentional community.

PLEASE CONSIDER: While we have modestly raised our suggested Partnerhood prices for the first time since 2019 this year, Partnerhood costs alone do not cover the cost required to provide our community with heartfelt, responsive programming year round. Let's find you your Shul/Shift!

As a Partner, you/your household commit to at least one Shul/Shift--a unit of volunteering--per year. Are you able to serve in any of the following ways? (Check all that apply)

Zoom Moderator – Knowledge of most, if not all of the in-meeting Zoom controls, and how to talk others through them.Sacred Space Specialist - You want to help us be a pop up community, arriving early to ritual programs to help with set up, or staying late to help with clean up.Board Team or Task Force - You have specialized knowledge (law, finance, marketing, HR, etc) and want to work with Board and Staff to make this community work.Lab/Shul Greeter – You love talking about Lab/Shul & welcoming new folks to our community.Feast Team – Upgrade the sacred the act of sharing a table, raising a glass, and breaking bread together at Lab/Shul’s catered Shabbat and holiday feasts.Soup Circle: Commit to the sacred task of bikor holim—visiting the ill—by sending a cup of soup, reaching out by phone, or even stopping by for a visit.Dinners and Home Hosts: Sign up to host monthly Kaddish Club Dinners, study salons with Rabbi Amichai, Shabbat-to-Go, or holiday feasts.Sorry. I am not able to take on any of these responsibilities.
